Fatoğlu Kardeşler II - Simrad ES80 Fish Size Measurement

PROMAR supplied the Simrad ES80 scientific echo sounder and fish size measurement system for the fishing vessel Fatoğlu Kardeşler II.

The Simrad ES80 is a scientific echo sounder that uses a split-beam transducer to measure the size distribution of fish in a school before the catch. The skipper can check whether the target species and size are suitable before setting the net, reducing unnecessary catch, time and fuel.
