Using precise GPS positioning, RECON holds the boat at the spot you choose, so you can fish without dropping anchor, damaging the bottom or spooking the fish. In an industry first, you can nudge the anchor position in small steps in any direction by holding down the FreeSteer™ joystick – there is no need to switch the anchor off and on again to reposition the boat.

The FreeSteer™ joystick remote moves the boat precisely in almost any direction with fine steering control and offers the fastest steering response in its class. The small, lightweight remote can be used anywhere on the boat. With its colour transflective LCD screen and configurable keys, you can make all settings from the remote in your hand without going back to the chartplotter.

The 24V/36V brushless motor delivers the power you need without the noise: 115 lb of thrust at 36 V and 90 lb at 24 V. RECON moves the boat quietly through the water so you can get right over your target without spooking the fish.

RECON's mount matches the common mounting footprint of brushed motors, so you can switch to RECON from many existing trolling motors without drilling new holes. The riveted latch system makes deploying and stowing the motor easy.

A special corrosion-resistant coating developed for harsh environments and heavy saltwater use lets the motor run longer with less maintenance. The one-piece cable also has a UV-resistant coating.
Thanks to its NMEA 2000® connection, RECON works with Simrad displays such as NSS 4. It offers multiple accessory mounting points and supports Active Imaging™ 3-in-1 and HDI nosecone options as well as ActiveTarget® 2 mounting kits. RECON is also available under the Lowrance brand in freshwater and saltwater versions.
