Simrad NSS 4: A Faster, Smarter Multifunction Display

NSS 4 combines a touchscreen, rotary knob and keypad. When it becomes difficult to touch the screen in rough weather, you can use the rotary knob to scroll through menus, zoom in and out, and press to select. The waypoint key drops a mark on the chart instantly, and custom keys – which can be assigned different functions for a short and long press – give one-touch access to your most-used apps (the 10-inch model has one custom key). Dual front-loading SD card slots give easy access to chart and memory cards.

Thanks to the 8-core Qualcomm® processor, you switch between apps smoothly and without delay – so your attention stays on the boat and the fish, not the screen. NSS 4 delivers Simrad's fastest-ever auto routing and chart drawing performance, getting you to your next fishing spot sooner.

Advanced fishing technology

Sonar models feature a built-in dual-channel 1 kW CHIRP echo sounder. Support for Active Imaging™ and Active Imaging™ HD shows fish and underwater structure in high resolution, making it easier to find the best spots. The system can be expanded with S3100 and S5100 sonar modules. Non-sonar models require a compatible network sonar module or another Simrad® display connected via Ethernet for sonar functions.

Integration with the entire Simrad system

NSS 4 works seamlessly with HALO® radars, the RECON™ trolling motor and the Simrad® app. Rhodan® and MotorGuide® trolling motors, Mercury® engine data, CZone® digital switching and C-MAP® X-gen charts are also supported.

Customize it your way

You can adapt the preset dashboards to your own use and create split screens however you like. The new NEON™ operating system keeps improving with on-device training videos and new features.
